Llani Life

It is just a 20 minute fairly level walk from Dol-Llys Hall in to Llani, as Llanidloes – the first town on the Afon Hafren (River Severn) with a population of 2500 – is affectionately known. Llani is a very picturesque and friendly town, with lots of historical and cultural interest, independent shops, community spaces, a community centre, hotels, pubs, cafes & restaurants, a church, and several chapels. Llani also has both Primary and High Schools, as well as pre-school provision; a Sports’ Centre; a Medical Centre, a dental practice, and a cottage hospital.

A recent piece in the “let’s move to” series in the Guardian shows what Llani has to offer
